Biography
Associate Professor Robert McClure graduated from the University of Leeds, UK, in 1987. He first trained in Paediatrics in the UK and Australia, specialising in Neonatology. He then went on to work for ten years as a specialist Neonatologist predominantly at Addenbrookes Hospital, University of Cambridge Teaching Hospital, UK and in Perth, Western Australia.
In 2008 Dr McClure embarked on a new challenge and began his training in Anatomical Pathology in Perth, WA. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2013.
During his career Dr McClure has also written over 20 published original medical papers, co-edited the Oxford Handbook of Paediatrics, 1st and 2nd editions, and was awarded an MD in 1999. Bringing his wealth of knowledge, insights and experience, Dr McClure joined Western Diagnostics in 2015.
